Chin-Ju Tsai is Senior Lecturer of Human Resource Management at Royal Holloway, University of London. Prior to this, she held a research position at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick, and a management position at Standard Chartered Bank. She holds a PhD in Management Studies from the University of Cambridge, is a Member of the Academy of Management (AoM) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).

Chin-Ju’s current scholarly work focuses on cross-cultural leadership exploring expatriate senior managers’ experience of leading people of different culture. Her work has appeared in top management journals including Human Relations, Human Resource Management Journal, Work and Occupations, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Organization, and International Small Business Journal. She was the winner of the Academy of Management (AoM) annual conference’s Best Paper (HR Division) award 2017, the International Academy of Management and Business (IAMB) conference’s Best Overall Paper award 2015, and of the International Small Business Journal’s Best Overall Paper award 2010.
