Research

Research Interests: I am an active member of the Centre for Research Into Sustainability (CRIS) and the Centre for critical and historical research on organisation and society (CHRONOS).

My research interests, at the intersection of sustainability and entrepreneurship, include the pro-social foundations, forms, and functions of organisations as agents of positive social change and their inherent ambivalences.  Here, my main focus is on social entrepreneurship and social innovation.

I link this research with my personal passion for the topic of disability. Through my research, I aim to better understand how to improve economic participation and societal inclusion for disabled people. This translates into research across all aspects of live including entrepreneurship for and by disabled people, inclusive education provision as well as travel and tourism arrangements .

I am currently invovled in multiple interdisciplinary projects on disability and wellbeing related topics in the Uk as well as in India, South Africa, Uganda and Zambia.

PhD Supervision: I am interested in supervising PhD dissertations on social entrepreneurship and/or disability and inclusion.
