Description
The interdisciplinary research project seeks to understand:
1. The role of material possessions (including lost possessions, loved/hated possessions) for victims/ survivors of domestic abuse.
2. The type of relations participants have with the material possessions symbolising their past and present selves.
3. How female victims of domestic violence navigate between past and ideal identities through their material possessions.
The methodological approach includes art workshops and qualitative interviews.
