Description

My MSc research project supervised by Dr. Szonya Durant. I compared computational neural models of orientation tuned V1 cells using ether Frequency or Rank Order coding methods in their ability to predict performance of human participants in distinguishing global orientation, signaled by a saccade. In the project I used NEURON simulation environment to model the V1 cells and tested participants in using a reaction time 2AFC psychophysics experiment with a VSG Eyetracker.
