Irene Arahal Moreno

I'm an Early Stage Researcher and PhD student working as part of the IP-PAD MSCA Doctoral network, an international team of interdisciplinary researchers dedicated to investigating how adolescents engage with their political systems.

As part of my PhD work, I focus on the development of political beliefs during the formative years. I explore how adolescents incorporate political information from their socialisation environments, process it, and translate it into coherent and stable political attitudes and beliefs. My research involves integrating insights from both political science and psychology to gain a deeper understanding of the younger generations' role in shaping and strengthening our democracies.
