Dr Anna Millen is a qualified Chartered Clinical Psychologist and a lecturer on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology training programme at Royal Holloway.

Prior to qualifying as a clinical psychologist at the University of East London, she worked as a research worker at King’s College London investigating treatment for eating disorders.

After qualifying, her interests have been in child and adolescent mental health and paediatric diabetes, following from her clinical experience in these fields over the last 7 years.

As an accredited BABCP CBT therapist, Anna also has an interest in CBT and third-wave approaches (particularly ACT).

Even though Anna's main research output has been using qualitative methods, she also has interest in quantitative approaches; and aims to collaborate with external agencies (incl. NHS and private organisations) to facilitate research carried out by trainee clinical psychologists whom she supervises.
