Description

This project is designed to explore the use of playful learning techniques based on the Lego® Serious Play® method to construct and conceptualise complex legal analysis for a problem question in contract law. It is being carried out by Dr Antony Starza-Allen, module leader for Contract Law at the University of Surrey, and Dr Marton Ribary, module leader and teacher in English Legal System and Contract Law at Royal Holloway, University of London.

We want to explore whether creative learning and the use of metaphor is a suitable methodology to develop the creative part of the problem-solving process, and whether such activity could be proposed as a future learning activity in Contract Law. The activity is based on the guided approach to problem solving that you will be familiar with from the first-year core module of Contract Law.

We are inviting Contract Law students to take part to provide feedback on whether creative learning techniques are helpful to your learning and could be an effective teaching tool. Your participation is entirely voluntary.
