Abstract

This chapter presents that argument and then explores what Just War theories might look like if wars were not fought "for" women, "over" women, attacking women, or "protecting" women. It proposes revising Just War theorizing by putting aside the gendered combatant/civilian dichotomy--that is, by describing Just War "without civilians."
