Magna Carta in Egham was a three year, Heritage Lottery Fund project at Egham Museum. It included the creation of a range of educational resources for schools, a Moot for local law students at the Supreme Court, a debate day at Cumberland Lodge, a programme of community talks, collaborations with various community groups, two exhibitions, the commission by Heathrow Airport of a graphic novel about Magna Carta which was then distributed at terminals in the summer of 2015, medieval style pennants display in Egham, Staines, at Guildford Cathedral and at Runnymede on the day of the 800th anniversary celebrations, a series of Constitutional Conventions where students from across the South East debated and drafted clauses for a modern Magna Carta to be exhibited in the Supreme Court and more (see link for project evaluation booklet).
