Personal profile

Research interests

I am interested in the social and ethical implications of digital transformation in sustainable global development, with particular interests in digital inequality and inclusion of the marginalised. I teach a research-led core course in the MSc of Digital Innovation and Analytics called 'Critical Issues in Digital Society'.

I was co-founder and co-convenor of the Digital Organisation and Society Research Centre from 2017 to 2021 and currently serve as Senior Editor at the Information Systems Journal. I welcome PhD applications that explore topics connected to critical research of digital transformation either in the Global South or Global North.
