My research relates to the investigation of Earth's tectonic and sedimentary processes, and my expertise is integrating subsurface data to understand how the physical characteristics of sedimentary basins control their potential to generate and store resources – a fundamental aspect of geoscience that supports sustainable development of societies.
I am currently deputy director of the Energy Geosciences MSc as well as Royal Holloway representative for the GeoNetZero Centre for Doctoral Training, a PhD research program that focuses on the application of geosciences for the low carbon energy transition.
I welcome discussing research proposals with potential MSc and PhD students as well as post-docs. I am also open for consultancy and collaboration with the geoenergy & georesource industry.
I deliver training courses in seismic interpretation to the industry as well as I carry out consultancy work related to subsurface analysis and exploration.
