Lecturer in Broadcast Media (TF)
My research interests lie primarily in the area of global media studies. I am particularly interested in exploring the dynamics of international media institutions and the cultural and economic implications of transnational media flows. I am the Course Director of MA International Media Management (https://cutt.ly/TeBVWaJ) hosted by the Media Arts Department. Apart from teaching at the postgraduate level, I also contribute lectures and project supervision to undergraduate courses including Film, Television and Digital Histories and Media Research Project. I supervise PhD students in the area of global media and communication studies with a particular focus on Chinese media in the global context.
I am currently the School Director of PGT Education at the newly formed School of Performing and Digital Arts.
