Ezenwa is a PhD candidate at the School of Law and Social Sciences, Royal Holloway, University of London. His research and teaching interests are in the broad areas of political sociology, African politics, and global governance. Within these areas, his core interests lie in (im)mobility, climate change, armed conflict, and qualitative methods. He is currently researching the impact of eco-violence on migration patterns in order to understand how cultural life, social peace, and income inequalities of the displaced and receiving communities are affected. His research on trans-border terrorism focusing on Boko-Haram and its activities in Africa was published as a chapter in a book in 2016.
