Abstract

A critical edition of Emperor Manuel II Palaeologus' hitherto unpublished theological treatise On the Procession of the Holy Spirit, discourse On the Order in the Holy Trinity, and epistolary discourse on the study of theology addressed to Alexios Iagoupes. The edition comprises an introduction, an analytical description of the extant manuscripts (Vaticanus graecus 1107, Parisinus graecus 3041 and Barberinianus graecus 219) with an examination of the text, the relations of the manuscripts, and a reconstruction of the stemmata codicum, followed by indices.
