Despite its flaws, Countering Suicide Terrorism is ultimately an important and significant work. The great contemporary relevance of its subject, combined with the dire shortage of published literature on the matter made this inevitable. The quality and value of the fourteen papers varies enormously, but no student, researcher or other professional who seeks an understanding of suicide terrorism should be without this book.
