Personal profile

I am a Lecturer in Management Accounting at Royal Holloway University of London. Prior to joining the College, I was a Lecturer in Accounting at Coventry University. I obtained a PhD and a MAcc degree from University of Glasgow.

I am a qualitative accounting researcher who studies accounting issues through a critical and sciological lens. My current research interests primarily relate to the use of management accounting and accountability practice in the emerging economics context. I also have a research interests on Accounting professions in China, including their identities and stereotypes

I am interested in supervising PhDs that use qualitative methods in topics such as (but not limited to): Management Accounting, Accountability, and critical accounting.
