Personal profile

Josephine graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Brunel University, West London in 2014 and completed an MSc in Forensic Psychology at the University of Kent in 2015. Josephine was awarded the Tizard Centre, University of Kent PhD scholarship.

Josephine has previously worked at the Tizard Centre, University of Kent on several projects funded by NIHR. She has also worked at Medway Secure Training Centre with young people and within the Forensic and Specialist Services Care Group within Kent and Medway NHS Partnership Trust (KMPT). Josephine has experience of working with adult male offenders who have a mental health and/or learning disability diagnosis.

Research interests

Josephine’s research focuses on the assessment and treatment of adults with IDD and firesetting.

Teaching

Josephine teaches across the undergraduate and postgraduate courses within the department of Law and Criminology.
