Prior to joining the CDT I graduated with BA(Hons) in History and Social Anthropology from Queen's University Belfast. My research interests considered the correlation between care, relatedness and space within vulnerable communities. I completed my MSc with Distinction in International Tourism Management at Ulster University. I conducted ethnographic fieldwork in both Colombia and Northern Ireland in researching how street art can be used in post-conflict societies for social and economic development. After spending time working in industry in Belfast and New York I decided to explore further my interest in security by applying to the PhD program in Information Security at the CDT. My research will focus on how groups 'on the edge' of society navigate an increasingly digitalized society.
