Honor Gilbertson

Honor is a PhD student and history teacher exploring public history and the role of oral history in the UK history classroom.  Her research combines pedagogical literature and recent scholarship within the history of childhood, exploring how disciplinary methods can be applied to the teaching of history at secondary level. She is interested in how young people access the past, and their relationship with scholarship which includes the voices and experiences of a younger and overlooked social group within Modern British history.
