Abstract

This article examines how Radix’s Obstructions performance, BEUTFL CARATS, reiterated the strength and ingenuity defining Vancouver’s theatre community by not only responding to a set of obstacles created by the local arts organization, Progress Lab, but also by initiating a discussion that acknowledged the collaborative role of spectators and critics.
