Abstract
Our Lady of Stars is one part of a multimedia work comprising of an album, audiobook, and a book of poetry and scores exploring music and language’s shared written and aural syntaxes and appropriating contemprorary music process techniques to song and poetic form. It was independently released on Sorana’s own imprint I Dream Sound in conjunction with Nova/Universal and Lazy Gramophone Press, toured with funding from Arts Council England, and was nominated for a British Composer Award.
