Abstract
The article discusses three beds in 'Ulyses': Odysseus's bed; Shakespeare's 'second-best bed'; and the Bloom's travelling bed. Through a comparison of these three beds, the article argues that the 'mythic logic method' provides the basis for indeterminacy and polysemy.
