Description

Masters by Research project regarding the integration of a Hydrogen Storage scheme to the UK power grid in order to fulfill shortages in renewable energy generation. Excess renewable energy generation from wind turbines can be utilized for Electrolysis in order to produce Green Hydrogen for Underground Storage. Stored Hydrogen is produced from the underground storage formation through Hydrogen turbines schematically to fulfill shortages in renewable energy generation. As a result, we are able to solely depend on renewable energy sources, with non harmful levels of carbon dioxide emissions, to sustainably power the world as we know it.
