Description

Working with over 20 of Europe's broadcaster archives, to make available 40,000 items in a universally accessible, searchable site from which the material is streamed. This involves converging the metadata of all the archives into a common format; the creation of a theasurus for all 9 working languages; the development of a graphic user interface; the creation of 'virtual exhibitions' and an academic journal; and the development of user case studies. RHUL's particular responsibility is for metadata; selection policies; creating 'virtual exhibitions'; and creating an online academic journal VIEW.
