The list https://journals.sagepub.com/topic/collections-jtr/jtr-2-tribute_ttra50th_anniversary/jtr?pbEditor=true was compiled to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA). Papers were “chosen based on a careful evaluation of each piece’s conceptual contribution, practical relevance, topical and methodological diversity, and citations and impact”.
