My main area of research is the phenomenon known as microbunch instabilities. It has been observed at several synchrotron light facilities across the globe, including Diamond Light Source. I am currently working with the diagnostics team at Diamond in detection of THz radiation bursts.
I recently attended the IX International Symposium of Radiation from Relativistic Electrons in Periodic Structures (RREPS) where I presented my results in a poster format.
I have also undertaken a project with MilliMetre Wave Technology Group (MMT), a part of RAL Space. The project involved creation of the signal generation system for use in a cloud radar at the STFC's Harwell Campus.
I received an MPhys degree from the University of Reading in 2010. I can program in Python, LabVIEW, C++, Fortran 90, and MATLAB.
