Weiqiang Lin was a PhD student at Royal Holloway, University of London and has experience both in academia and government service. His research interests converge around issues of mobilities, logistics and infrastructures, air transport, migration and transnationalism in the Asian context. Under the guidance of Tim Cresswell and Peter Adey, he has published in a diverse range of edited volumes and peer-reviewed journals, including Environment and Planning A, Mobilities, Journal of Transport Geography, Political Geography, and Transactions of the Institute of British Geographers. Between 2011 and 2014, he was a recipient of the UK Commonwealth Scholarship, under which generous support he completed his PhD at Royal Holloway.
