Utsa Mukherjee is a PhD candidate in Sociology at the School of Law. His doctoral research is located at the intersection of the sociology of childhood, leisure studies and the sociology of the Indian diaspora; and looks into leisure practices and identities of Indian diasporic children in the UK. He is a qualitative researcher and continues to conduct research and publish in areas of cultural studies, critical sexuality studies and postcolonial studies.
