Dr Tim Stevens was appointed Teaching Fellow in International Relations in September 2015. He was previously employed as a Teaching Fellow in the Department of War Studies, King's College London (2013-15).

Dr Stevens' research interests lie in information technology and global politics; the politics of cybersecurity; and time and temporality in International Relations. He is the author of Cyber Security and the Politics of Time (Cambridge UP, 2016) and co-author of Cyberspace and the State (2011). He has published articles on politics and security in Security Dialogue, International Political Sociology, Contemporary Security Policy and Philosophy & Technology, as well as a wide range of other journals, magazines and newspapers. He is also a frequent media commentator, particularly on cyber security, surveillance and other political issues relating to information technologies.

Dr Stevens is an associate of the Centre for Science & Security Studies at King's College London and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
