Former PhD student funded by the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and Royal Holloway (RHUL).
Graduated in Physics from University College London (UCL) with a First Class Honours in 2014, MSci Physics.
During her PhD Teresa focused on quantum optics phenomena with artificial atoms, developed quantum technologies and investigated novel approaches for the standard of current based on the coherent quantum phase slip (CQPS) effect.
As part of Teresa's PhD project she has designed, built and operated the first superconducting qubit in the UK [1] with the expertise of her PhD supervisor Prof. Oleg Astafiev and other members of the Nanotechnology group at Royal Holloway.
