Stacey Hsiangju Chen was born in Taiwan and got her first degree of economist from National Taiwanese University. She worked in SUNY Albany and University of Toronto after her postgraduate studies in University of Rochester and Standford University. She is a labor economist and econometrician, interested in issues on land, education, inequality, and methodologies. She is a Christian and loves music of Bach, Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, Amhad Jamel, Brad Mehdau, and Thelonious Monk. She also likes swimming and reading. Her favorite beverage is Taiwanese green tea.
