Solène Heinzl is a full time ethnomusicology Mphil/PhD student funded by TECHNE (AHRC Doctoral Training Parthnership). She is supervised by Professor Anna Morcom and Dr Derrick Chong. Her PhD is on the impact of cultural policies in the new towns. Her case study is Cergy-Pontoise: a french new town located 30km north-west of Paris (France). Her approach is urban ethnomusicology. 



Solène Heinzl est doctorante en ethnomusicologie à Royal Holloway University of London sous la direction du Professeur Anna Morcom et du Dr Derrick Chong. Son doctorat est financé par TECHNE UK Arts and Humanities Research Council. Son doctorat porte sur l'impact des politiques culturelles sur le développement des villes nouvelles. Son cas d'étude est la ville de Cergy-Pontoise de 1965 à nos jours. La méthodologie est de l'ethnomusicologie urbaine.
