My background is in forensic psychology. I have worked as a practitioner and researcher in forensic mental health and prison settings.
I received a MSc Forensic Psychology from the University of Surrey (2015) and a BSc Psychology from The University of Essex (2009)
My research interests are in self-harm in prisoners, care provision in prison and mental health in forensic populations. My MSc research was conducted in prison and explored the prevalence rates of PTSD amongst a in-reach caseload. My PhD research developed a model of care to reduce and protect against self-harm in male prisoners and was conducted in three male establishements.
I am a graduate member of the British Psychological Society.
I am currently employed as a Forensic Psychologist in Training for HMPPS. I was previously employed as an Assistant Psychogist for the NHS in a forensic mental health setting and as a group faciliator for the NHS in a prison.
