Personal profile

In January 2018, I started my PhD in the Earth Science Department under the supervision of Prof. Euan Nisbet, Dr. Dave Lowry and Dr. Rebecca Fisher. My current research was focused on the isotopic characterisation and quantification of methane emissions from waste sources in Europe, especially in the UK. This study is funded by MEthane goes MObile:MEasurement and MOdeling project from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No 722479.

I worked as a process engineer in Turkish petroleum refinery for three years. In 2014, I successfully completed my MSc in environmental engineering and earth science at Clemson University, US as a Fulbright scholar. I graduated from Middle East Technical University, Turkey with a double major in environmental engineering and chemical engineering departments.
