I am a lecturer in the Department of Library and Information Science, Mzuzu University, Malawi since 2010. I also headed the Department from January 2015 to September, 2017.  I hold a Masters Degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of the Western Cape. My Masters research focused on the use of community telecentres in Malawi. I am also a member of the Malawi Library Association, a fellow of the second African School on Internet Governance, an alumnus of the Communications Policy Research Young Scholars and, also, an alumnus of the Internet Corporations for Assigned Names and Numbers NextGen; and alumnus of the 2017 All Africa House Fellowship, a fellowship which targets young or mid career African academics to be at University of Cape Town to write up research paper(s) for publication. My research interests are eLearning, social media, ICT4D and ICT application in libraries
