Personal profile

I am broadly interested in biocultural diversity conservation and multi-level policy learning strategies scaling-up rural community adaptive management of natural resources, social-ecological systems dynamics, and intercultural communication between scientific and local ecological knowledge systems. My research focuses on the causes and effects of indigenous-managed protected areas (PAs) as tropical forest conservation policy instruments in the Guiana Shield ecoregion.
