Personal profile

Research interests

The research interests of my group include: cultural evolution, animal culture, animal communication, and theoretical evolutionary biology. We investigate patterns of cultural change in bird song, attempt to unpick vocal learning through observational and experimental methods, and model cultural evolution from humpback whale song to consumer attitudes to risk. Please see our website: https://www.cuco.group for more!
