Research interests

My research examines the relationship between the colonial government and missionaries in Natal and Western Australia, 1833-1875. In particular, I am looking at education provided to Indigenous, then called 'native', children in these British colonies.

Personal profile

I completed my Undergraduate degree and Masters at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, before moving to the UK to start my PhD in January 2012.
