Rebecca is a PhD research student at the Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her PhD is funded by the EPSRC.

Rebecca is interested in cyber security governance, narratives, and feminist approaches to security. 

Rebecca graduated from the University of Oxford in 2020 with a BA(Hons) in History and Politics before working in the Information Technology Sector as a Project Manager.

She was an Atlantic Council's Cyber 9/12 Semifinalist in 2022. In April 2022 she received Honorary Mention in the Growing Thought Leadership Award, issued by International Forum of Terrorism Risk (Re) Insurance Pools (IFTRIP) for her paper: 'When Can Ransomware be Considered Cyberterrorism? A Framework for Classification'.

Rebecca is a recipient of the FS-ISAC Women in Cyber Scholarship 2023.
