Research interests

Piotr's research interests are in the economics of armed conflict, in particular the economics of terrorism and the sensitivity of public opinion to war-related costs. His current work concentrates on the impact of terrorism and conflict on foreign aid allocation. 


Currently Piotr works as a Lecturer in Economics at Coventry University, where he is involved in the following courses: Mathematical Techniques for Economists (Module Leader), Principles of Economics, Statistical Analysis, and Developing Academic and Professional Skills 2. He also supervises undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.
