Personal profile

Personal profile

I joined Royal Holloway in 2017, when I started my undergraduate (Bsc) course in Digital Geosciences. Throughout my time as an undergraduate student, I was able to discover my passion and deep interest in Geophysics and Planetary Geology/Science.

Following the completion of my undergraduate degree in June 2020, I accepted an offer to continue further study at the Earth Sciences department (at RHUL) as a PGR student. I am now focusing my postdoctoral research, with the support and supervision of Dr. Queenie H.S. Chan, on meteorites. My current research project is specifically aimed at studying direct samples of extraterrestrial water in astromaterial samples and inferring the history of hydrothermal activities on their apparent asteroid parent bodies.

If you would like to propose a collaboration on a project related to the study of meteorites, or any other astromaterials, please contact me on the e-mail address above.

Alternatively, if you would like to donate or contribute a meteorite sample to on-going research; I would love to hear from you.

I will aim to update this space on further information about my research as soon as I can.

Research interests

My research interests include:

  • Planetary Science
  • Geophysics
  • Geochemistry
  • Computational Geosciences

Teaching

At present, I am working towards an Associate Fellowship of the Advance Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).

Alonside my research project, I am also a Teaching Assistant within the department of Earth Sciences here at Royal Holloway. Currently, I am helping to teach by demonstrating in a range of modules (including Palaeotology and Regional Geology).
