Personal profile

I joined the CDT after completing the Information Security MSc at Royal Holloway in 2019. Prior to this I spent 11 years working within the transaction services team at PwC London in financial due diligence, gaining an ACA accounting qualification. I was part of the inaugural intake of the Teach First programme, teaching physics within a London secondary school, obtaining qualified teacher status. I also have a degree in natural sciences (physics) from Cambridge University.

My PhD looks at ways to reduce and prevent adverse action in cyberspace which may be below certain thresholds but cumulatively can have strategic effect. Methodology involves use of systems thinking (decision science) techniques to model and understand the potential impact of networked effects within a UK setting in a below threshold environment to understand risk at scale.
