Research interest:

Currently, I am a PhD student at the School of Management, Royal Holloway, University of London. My research interest is on entrepreneurship focusing on migrant entrepreneurs and digital economy. Virtualisation in the business world has created an ample of opportunities than ever before and has contributed significantly to the world's economy. Entrepreneurs' contribution to any country's economy has always been remarkably significant. Entrepreneurs are not limited within the national boundaries. Thus, there is a huge interest in researching on this field as a distinct and emerging discipline.

Experience:

Over twenty years' experience of working in the education industries both in the UK and Nepal. My expertise revolves around teaching, researching and managing educational institutions.

Research and Achievement:

  • A research grant award received for a research work entitled 'Quality assurance practices in Nepalese higher education', University Grants Commission-2007, Nepal. 
  • First prize award received for a co-authored research paper entitled 'Research on the Localisation of Chinese Cross-Border E-Commerce Enterprises during Belt and Road Construction.' The Belt and Road International Special Event Contest of CEFC CHINA ENERGY COMPANY LIMITED-15 Challange Cup-2017.
  • SeNSS bursary award received to attend the SeNSS Summer Conference 2018.
  • Research work presented at the SeNSS Conference 2018.
  • ESRC-SeNSS Industry Engagement Fund of 5,000.00 awarded.
