Personal profile

Dr Milena Tekeste completed her MSc in Human Resource Management and Organisational Analysis at King’s College London and her PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London. After her PhD submission, Milena commenced a fellowship at the London School of Economics in Employment Relations and HR.

Dr Tekeste's research interest focuses in understanding the future of work. In particular, Milena seeks to understand the idiosyncracy of workplace flexibility within professional service firms. In addition, her work challenges current theoretical and methodological applications within management research.

Prior to pursuing her PhD, Dr Tekeste was a Learning & Development practitioner within banking, law and government.

Dr Tekeste is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. 

Research interests

Dr Milena Tekeste's research interest lies in understanding the changing nature of employment and careers. In particular, Dr Tekeste seeks to understand the individualisation of workplace flexibility.
