Dr Maria Simosi is a Reader in Organisational Studies and Human Resource Management at Royal Holloway, University of London. She is the Director of MSc programme in International Management. She holds a PhD in Organisational Psychology from the London School of Economics. She has extenstive experience as HRM specialist in the banking sector. She is a Member of the Academy of Management (AoM) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).

Her research examines career trajectories as well as the dynamics of employee–employer relationships. Her published work appears in leading academic journals including Human Relations, Journal of Vocational Behavior and International Journal of Human Resource Management.

  • idiosyncratic deals and talent management
  • employee-employer relations in crisis economies
  • women's career trajectories
  • graduates' career competencies

Maria is interested in supervising doctoral students wishing to undertake research in these areas.
