Personal profile

Konstantinos is a trained mathematician and information security professional who moved to academia  to conduct experimental research on behavioural aspects of security. His work examines risk perceptions and attitudes of information security professionals and the various types of 'rationality' including humans and AI. He supervises a team of PhD studentss on different aspects of cyber behaviour change.

He is a Program Committee Member for the European Network Intelligence Conference, the Workshop on Applications of Social Network Analysis, the International School and Conference on Network Science and the nternational Conference on Signal Image Technology & Internet Based Systems. In 2018, Konstantinos formed the research group HIVE with colleagues from Psychology and Law at RHUL with a focus on cybercrime aspects of financial abuse, cyberbullying and cyberstalking.

Konstantinos is module leader for the courses: Human Aspects of Information Security and Privacy (DL) and Cybercrime (on campus) and the Director of the Distance Learning (DL) MSc programme in Information Security.
