Kimberly Everall

I am a social and cultural historian focused on mission history in England. My current research explores the professionalisation of women's work in the Church of England and how the expectations and representations in England transcended to the realities in the Uganda mission field. I am particularly interested in women’s lives in England from the 18^th and 19^th centuries.

Thesis Title: 'Women’s Mission Work and Religious Cultures: From England to Uganda, c. 1865-1905'

Additionally, I am interested in examining the historiographical and methodical approaches of dance in history and how to integrate dance into history courses in higher education.

I am an Early Career Member of the Royal Historical Society (RHS), member of the Ecclesiastical History Society (EHS) & I actively participate in the seminar series 'Christian Missions in Global History' at the Institute of Historical Research, UK (IHR).

My educational background includes teaching jazz and tap dance technique, curriculum development and historical studies.
