Personal profile

Khadijah is a doctoral researcher at Royal Holloway. She is writing her thesis on the Grenfell Tower fire as a state-corporate crime. Her thesis involves analysing political discourses involving deregulation and their relationship with the fire in 2017. She is particularly interested in the voices of state actors and their motivations for failing to adequately regulate high-rise buildings.


Khadijah is a Racial Justice Fellow for Techne where she is working with her colleagues to create a diversity hub to support prospective and current researchers of colour.
