Personal profile

Experienced Research Assistant with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education and governmental industry. Skilled in Water Sampling, Analytical Chemistry, Fieldwork, Science Outreach, and Social Media. I'm an early career Earth scientist who is working the end stretch of my PhD studies (est. spring 2022). My current research focuses on source identification of methane emissions from urban cities using high precision stable isotopic GC-IRMS measurements coupled with mobile measurement techniques.

I enjoy both marine and atmospheric fieldwork and laboratory work, troubleshooting various instruments (e.g. multi-parameter sondes), and learning about new water and air measurement instrumentation. My recent growing interest is understanding world governmental politics in relation to the progress of scientific research and environmental policies.
