My research interests are mainly in superconducting quantum devices, particularly fundamental noise within these systems. A new feedback readout of superconducting resonators provides an ideal testbed for the characterisation of this noise. Further study of various dielectric layers, superconducting materials and deposition techniques should allow identification of lower noise systems.
